Whitetail Estates is a 160 home community in Williamson County, Texas located just off FM 2243 (Leander Road) between Georgetown and Leander Texas and just a few minutes to I-35 or HWY 183. The neighborhood is about 35 minutes to downtown Austin.  

 
 
 
The neighborhood is adjacent to the 800 acre Williamson County Regional Park where residents gain access to a large complex of hike & bike trails and soccer fields. 
 
Two school districts split the subdivision. Georgetown ISD and Leander ISD. Both are highly rated and well respected districts.
 
Mobility: The recent completion of the parmer land extension, area toll roads and commuter rail have significantly improved access to area amenities, shopping and offer alternatives travel routes to downtown Austin 
 
 

Whitetail Estates, a horse friendly community is known throughout the region for its beautiful homesites and abundant wildlife.

 The average home is 2700 SF and sits on 3.6 acres. Many of the home owners have horses or horse facilities on their property or other livestock giving the area a serene, country feel. The neighborhood is well established and the homes vary in age from the late seventies to those recently built. The average home is 15 years old. 
 
 The neighborhood is outside any city limits so most of the homes have private wells and septic systems.
 
Due to the convienient location and the larger lots, the homes in Whitetail are generally quite desirable and historically one would normally expect to see only one or two homes on the market at any given time. This is a great time to sell however homeowners should be  very conscious of the price and condition of their property and the impact on the marketability of the property. The nicer homes that are priced right will sell.
