Golf Courses
Sun City has three wonderful courses - the classic Legacy Hills, the challenging White Wing Golf Clubs and the new Cowan Creek Course. Each course is located among trees and natrual landscape winding throughout the community. Designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash, these 18-hole, 72 par courses are beautiful, inventive and wholly representative of the finest traditions of the game. Open for public play, each course sports its own nine-acre practice range, putting green, clubhouse, pro shop and lounge, and each has a distinctive look and feel, bringing genuine variety to this premier Texas golf destination.
Georgetown Texas
Population: Approximately 50,000. The population has increase more than 60% since 2000. Georgetown is the county seat of Williamson County.
Location:on the eastern edge of Central Texas Hill Country, 26 miles north of Austin off I-35. 40 miles south of Temple and equidistance from Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth.
Altitude:ranges from 454 to 1265 feet in Williamson County. Sun City is approximately 750 to 860 Feet
